I will admit that at initially I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this tripod because I had never ever heard of Ravelli and there is not much information on the brand out there. My last tripod was stolen from me. It was a rather highly-priced Manfrotto with a pistol grip ball head. Following receiving the Ravelli APGL4 I was quite impressed. Apart from the Ravelli becoming fairly a bit heavier than the Manfrotto the looks of it and the construct excellent are really similar. I will also say that paying much less than half of what I paid for my old tripod makes me smile. My CONS list for this product is rather brief. The movement of the ball head can be a little stiff or sticky but that could be fixed. I did notice that a couple of screws here and there needed to be tightened a bit. The free of charge mini tripod, even though cute as it may well be is useless to me. Even though my son is generating use of it with his point and shoot.
